GlobalTestMarket is pleased to announce our first sweepstakes contest! For every GlobalTestMarket survey you complete between October 1st, 2008 and December 30th, 2008, you will not only earn MarketPoints, but also two entries into a sweepstakes for a USD $500 cash prize! Better yet, the first survey you complete will gain you ten entries!

Even if you don’t qualify for all the surveys you start, you will receive one sweepstakes entry for each survey, in addition to the usual award of 5 MarketPoints. Thirty lucky GlobalTestMarket members will be randomly selected to receive this prize.

GlobalTestMarket MarketPoint Bug Update – November 13th

Members recently observed an increase in the MarketPoint balance, but still had missing points. That was expected because the resolution to our MarketPoint problem required several steps and sequential software releases. We have been working diligently to resolve this issue before the holiday season, and I now have some good news for the membership!

Development just announced there is a software release tonight that will resolve 90% of our current MarketPoint reporting issues. Points that were not reported in your account balance between October 2nd through the 9th, along with a few other reporting errors, should be resolved within the next 24 to 48 hours. We require 24 to 48 hours because it takes time for the program script to update millions of accounts. Chances are by the end of Friday the 14th your MarketPoint balance will finally be accurate.

The remaining MarketPoint issues will be resolved in a few weeks. Please note only a tiny portion of the membership is impacted by the issue that will be resolved in a few weeks.

Members currently receive two different looking invites. Our older invite should accurately report your MarketPoint balance.

However, our newer survey invites still have some replication issues. To avoid confusion we are removing the MarketPoint balance total until that issue is resolved. We are recording and awarding points from these invites. At the moment we cannot configure the invite itself to display a correct MarketPoint balance total.

When we are provided with more status updates from our Development team we will post a summary here for your review. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. We have also started implementing safeguards from preventing future releases from causing so much inconvenience.

GlobalTestMarket Website and MarketPoints Update

Many of you have inquired about the status of website and MarketPoints bugs.  It’s taken a bit to update the blog so thank you for your patience. 

As you know, our development team continues to work around the clock to make several improvements to our system.  Garth and I have been informed that the majority of MarketPoints have posted to your accounts and the final window of activity from Oct 2-9 will be migrated soon.  Resolution to this matter should take effect in 2-3 weeks from now so please continue to hang tight.

If you are experiencing any difficulty logging in to your account or redeeming the MarketPoints available in your account please contact our customer service via the GlobalTestMarket Contact Us form on the website.

Please be assured that all activity and MarketPoints earned are being recorded and we understand you would like to see your accurate account balance as soon as possible.

GlobalTestMarket Payment Update – Sept 18th Through Oct 1st

GlobalTestMarket members that requested payment between September 18th through the 24th will be happy to learn that payment was mailed on October 10th. GlobalTestMarket will be issuing payments today to members that requested their incentive during September 25th through October 1st.

Please be patient for these payments. The recent software bugs has prevented a small portion of the membership from being able to redeem. We have records of those members and will be sending their payment as soon as possible.

Online SurveysThe GlobalTestMarket Development team has been working around the clock to resolve the MarketPoint reporting error caused by our last software release. We expect all of our databases to communicate with each other successfully on Monday or Tuesday. That means members should be able to see an accurate MarketPoint balance when they login to their GlobalTestMarket account at the GlobalTestMarket website.
