how much money is 1000 points worth?

if i redeemed on the 29th of august, would i receive my check in time on the 17th? it is my dads birthday i a have no money to get him something. thanks a lot to whoever that replies.

You earn 5 cents (US dollars) per market point ie 1000pts = $50US

I think it is about 6 weeks US/Cananda and 8 for International. So if your in US/Canada you might be close if you can get the check banked and cleared. Good luck.
