Hi just joined 3 days ago and did 2 surveys and didnt qualify but received 10 market points for doing them. Can you redeem them or do you have to wait until you get 1000 points? At this rate it will take me years to get to 1000 points.

I’ve been getting sweeps entries instead of 5 points for the last few surveys I disqualified from. Is this something new? I sure liked getting points even when I couldn’t complete the survey. I think I’d rather have the 5 points, since I never win anyway. At least it gets me closer to a redemption. I’d love some info on this.

minimum of 1000 market points to be reqiured for redemption is too much, 200 market points were better i suppose.

I am registered since 2 years or more but still my total points are 645.
I get disqualified most of the times, i don’t know how to get qualified for each and every survey.

When you redeem market points it does not cost you anything.
I have been with this site for years and sometimes it takes a year to get to 1000 points… however my last redemption it only took me 2 months to reach 1000 points..
it all depends on the surveys you receive… generally as a rule the more surveys you complete the more you get (or so I have found anyways)
also dont be surprised if there are times where its a few weeks or even a month between receiving surveys … it happens…

I’ve been getting the sweeps entries too, instead of the 5pts if you don’t qualify for a survey. I’d much rather have the 5 points, and be more willing to try to participate if I at least knew I was getting points.

To all those of you that have recently joined and posted comments about being accepted for surveys. Stick with it guys i have been a member for over 2 years and have completed probably as many surveys as i have been rejected for.
This is a very good site to gain money it does take a while to start getting accepted but you will build them quickly as you do. I have had fits and starts until the start of this year when a good friend told me he has been on here years (i was a bit sceptical prior to that). I only had 700 odd market points in Jan 2009 and cashed in 3000 pts last month with my check arriving yesterday. So thank you Global Test Market you truly are the best survey site out there.

I have been a member for a few years now and getting interesting surveys is great when you qualify. Rather get points than entries to raffles or sweepstakes. At least, I know i will eventually get points toward cashing out.

It took me about 6 months to get 1000 points. I just received my first cheque (thanks!). The minimum that you can redeem at one time is 1000 (to the poster who asked if they could redeem their 10 points). My advice…be patient and check in every day!

I ‘ve been on this website for approx 16 months and I redeemed my 1100 points, in return I got a cheque, very satisfactory. it was my first earning in my life. so it was a great feeling. I earned 800 more points till now. so wait, dont loose heart…….u will definetely receive reward

I cashed out around 8/9/09 and my check was suppose to be here by 9/25/09. it was here 9/1709 and I had problems cashing it. now I have to wait for a new one

A few words of wisdom. Hello to all of you. I have been a GMI member for nearly 4 years. During my first year and a half i hardly ever participate in any surveys regardless if i qualified or not. After taking my first couple of surveys i realized how easy it was to earn points. So I stuck with the site and for the last 2.5 years i have earned neary $1000. This site is better than most sites because they provide you with 5 cents of every point earned. You may or may not qualify for surveys based on your surveys profile, so your best bet is to keep them up to date and be patient. I wish you all the best of luck.

I have been doing surveys for about 3-4 months. I have 800. People are right — the more surveys yu attempt the more you get. Seems like I have been getting a lot recently. Also make sure you have your information in the system correctly. I can’t wait till I can redeem my 1st check.

been on here for a little over a year and made 200 dollars. but every time i cash out it takes 6 weeks to get a check. that is retarded. on another site, opinion outpost, i get a check in 5 days or less.they can send itr in 5 days, but here they cant? what gives? but overall this is the 3rd best survey site. i have also noticed that if you dont have modern things in your household they dont want you at all.

yes,of course they do pay u. First of all when my first cheque was ready for redeem then I requested but they were not paying attention to send the cheque to me. I then believed that this site is fake as it is not sending me money. I keep on trying for at least 1 year then at last they sent me cheque. Then I decided to continue with the site.
It really pays.

first of all u have to fill in ur profile surveys and keep patience. U will get surveys inn ur mail. U have to keep on checking ur mail regularly.
1000 market points is equal to 2000 INR and $ 50 in USD.
