I apologize for the late notices, but the GlobalTestMarket team has been swamped with some large projects. Checks were issued on July 10th for members that redeemed between June 19th through the 25th. US members should expect to see a payment in their mailbox around July 24th, and our international members should see payments arrive around August 7th.
We also sent payments on July 16th to members that redeemed between June 26th and July 2nd.
I will get updates on the next batch or batches of payment from Finance sometime this week. Sorry for the delay noticed!

Yes, you do get paid for taking surveys when joining the GlobalTestMarket community. You join by completing the registration process. Do not mistake those surveys you receive via email for our fun surveys found on this Blog (i.e. Lindsay Lohan photo shoot, Easter survey) under the Fun Surveys category.
You should also check out the Online Survey Tips blog category. There are good posts about online surveys and what to look for when selecting a community to join. Hope this helps.

Good question with a complex answer. Our US members are awarded 10 MarketPoints for each profiler they complete. However, the award is only given upon the first completion.
We are in the process of uploading the new profiler versions internationally. International members will also receive 10 MarketPoints for the first complete of the new profilers. So far only the new Basic profiler has been uploaded to a handful of European and Asian countries.
Localization, translation, programming and quality testing is an arduous process when updating profiler surveys for the entire world.

I believe the list includes: China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia. I do not recall but we might have uploaded the new Basic for the Philippines as well.

Karen I can confirm that you do in fact receive payment via cheque. It depends on how quickly you accumulate your points. I received my first cheque today in southern Australia and I am very happy. This is a great paid survey site.
