Payment in the Mail for May 22nd – 28th Redemption Requests

June 13th, 2008

Finance has authorized payment for GlobalTestMarket members that requested payment between May 22nd through May 28th. This occurred a few days ago, so our Canadian payment vendor probably has already sent your payments. Please note that your payment is mailed from Canada so please be patient for the arrival of your check.

I absolutely LOVE this survey site!! If you’re hesitant about joining (as we all know there are many survey sites that sound too good to be true)…know this: Global Test Market IS true to their word!! The surveys are fun and easy…the point system (.05 per point) is one of THE BEST I have ever been a part of…you really DO get paid!! I’ve already cashed in once for a lil under $100 and I have over $100 in my account again…I’ll be cashing in soon! So if you’re thinking about signing up and you just aren’t “sure” yet…go for it! Seriously! You have NOTHING to lose!! I’m putting together a friends list too…gonna start sending out those referrals!!
Thanx Global Test Market…keep up the GREAT work!!!

I am working on that. I cannot give an estimated deadline, but please know we are working on improving our redemption offerings.

    C Silva,

PayPal is an electronic funds transfer online vendor. They operate throughout most of the world and support approximately 17 currencies.

    Shujala,

Read the posts found in the Online Survey Tips section. Those articles explain the GlobalTestMarket community. You can also find information on the Benefits page. I hope that helps.

I have to also agree that PayPal would be a wonderful addition for payouts, since quite a few of us hate waiting for checks, let alone even more of us are too lazy to go and cash them, lol.

    ChubbyBobo,

If you screen out of a survey the typical MarketPoint award is 5 total points but can vary. Survey completes range from 35 to 200 MarketPoints with a bulk of the surveys being worth 50 MarketPoints.

Our updated profiler surveys are worth 10 MarketPoints. The profilers are launched in the US and will be coming soon to our International membership.

I actually registered and kept checking for mails from GTM! surprise oh surprise, I check in today and I have like 7 surveys waiting!
I thought I would be getting a notification of some sort! grrr!

    Fatma,

Check your junk mail folder and see if the invites are in there. Make sure to add < @globaltestmarket.com > to your safe sender list as well. The large email providers like Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo and MSN are tricky to work with, but our email deliverability is very good. Click here for Gmail safe sender instructions.

I know some have suggested PayPal but I would prefer a check; if you use paypal, please give us the option to keep receiving checks. Paypal charges to send each check plus I do not want to link my checking account to them.

    Janice,

We are looking into expanding the incentive options not limiting the options. If we add PayPal or another electronic funds transfer solution we will still offer mailing checks. :)

Paypal is a great way to recieve money. It’s very fast and effective. I’m with a few survey companies that send payment via paypal. I always have it routed to my bank account. Paypal is very safe. I believe Paypal is part of Ebay. It’s also a great way to pay for things online. Though there aren’t many online stores that accept Paypal or checking accounts, it’s still good. When the option is available, I’ll be opting for Paypal.

That’s great. I’m actually a member of this online paid survey company, so perhaps should be more active to answer paid surveys.

I like having the Paypal option myself and hope it is added soon.

About adding in the safe sender’s list. How do I do that. I am using webmail. Does webmail has this feature. Pls help.

    Stella,

When I conduct a Google search for < webmail > I do not see a result for a specific email vendor. Do you know what company operates your webmail? Do you have a link to their website?

On the PayPal topic, just think of how green it is for GTM to choose this option. Not only will it save trees, but it will also save time and money on GTM end.
With such a big step towards change, this could mean more Market Points/ Money for the panel members. Maybe i’m jumping the gun here. The Paypal option will most likely save millions of dollars a year in postage, paper checks, envelopes, ink and the hours that the bookkeeper puts in to print and stuff the checks.
Even if half of the panel members opt for paypal, that’s still alot of time and $$$ saved.
Hey Garth, here’s another payment option for you, Offer Visa/MasterCard Preloaded cards as well, and somehow manage to incorporate the point redemption to load in the card.

    Mishyko,

Please allow at least 7 days for your account information to populate all of our databases. You might receive an invite sooner, but depending upon the database demand it may take about 7 days.
