A GlobalTestMarket Blog visitor was curious how GlobalTestMarket works and how they can earn money by joining the GlobalTestMarket community. Below is a step by step process: [1] Join GlobalTestMarket. Please provide complete and accurate information when registering. GlobalTestMarket does not share your information for advertising purposes and has a detailed privacy policy. After completing the registration form you must check your inbox for the double opt-in confirmation email. This is critical because GlobalTestMarket only sends email to members on our double opt-in email list to remain compliant with SPAM laws; [2] Access your GlobalTestMarket account; [3] Complete all your profiler surveys found on the Surveys page when you are logged into your account. This will qualify you for more market research surveys. Market research surveys will be sent to your inbox so add GlobalTestMarket to your Safe Sender list. You may also complete our client surveys in your account underneath the profiler survey section. The more surveys you receive and complete the quicker you can earn 1,000 MarketPoints. Members must complete market research surveys to earn points; [4] Members must earn a minimum of 1,000 MarketPoints before they can redeem their points for money. Once at 1,000 MarketPoints you must select the MarketPoints link on the navigation bar. Then select the Redeem button found on that web page. [5] The next page will ask how many MarketPoints you want to redeem. You must have at least 1,000 MarketPoints. However, if you have more than 1,000 you can redeem the total amount you earned. For example, if you have 2,238 MarketPoints, then you can redeem all 2,238! Please note the fun surveys offered on the blog do not award MarketPoints. |

Corina,
GlobalTestMarket does not charge a fee for membership. We never have and never will. Do you have the link where you registered to be a member? If you open the Registration page you will see GlobalTestMarket does not require a membership fee.
GlobalTestMarket does not even collect personal banking account information or credit card account information. We need to find the persons responsible for charging you money, and try to put a stop to their operation if it is legally possible.
I have sent an email to you to ensure you receive this message. Please respond to the email.

hi
i just want to know that what should i have to do in surveys.Do i sell something or comment on things produced by companies?

Mikel,
The surveys GlobalTestMarket provides are market research surveys. Members answer questions about product development, advertising campaigns, movie trailers and much more.
You will not receive advertising or solicitations. You do not sell anything and no one will request you buy anything. We provide an opportunity for companies to reach consumers so they can conduct research. Hope this answers your question.

Hello,
I was just wondering what the equivilant or ratio of marketpoints to dollars was. If I wait to add up 2000 marketpoints and then redeem into cash, will I make more money than just redeeming 1000 marketpoints twice? I know 1000 points is $50, so is 2000 points $100 when redeemed? Thanks for your help, I’m just curious as to how this all works!

Emma,
MarketPoints have no value until you reach the 1,000 point threshold. Once at 1,000 points they can be exchanged for cash.
1,000 MarketPoints = $50.00 USD
1,001MarketPoints = $50.05 USD
2,000 MarketPoints = $100.00 USD
Waiting to exchange larger amounts of MarketPoints does not increase the value of each individual MarketPoint. Hope that answers your question.

I can’t find where in the site it says how LONG it takes to earn points. I realise that each survey is probably different amount of points, but can you give me an idea - eg: 1 survey can be equivalent to 5 - 10 points.

Jade,
[1] It may take a few days before a new member makes their way into the survey engine. At that point qualifying for a survey invite depends upon various factors. Clients provide us with market research studies that we send along to our membership.
Clients dictate the demographic requirements and how many completes are necessary for each study. Then our Feasibility crunches numbers to determine how many invites to send out and sets the sample. The sample is a large pool of members that fit the client criteria. Finally, our survey engine randomly selects members from the sample and sends the survey invite. GlobalTestMarket is in huge demand and you will have lots of opportunity to earn MarketPoints.
[2] The MarketPoint award is based upon survey length and subject matter. You will typically receive 50 MarketPoints for a survey complete. However, shorter surveys may award 15 - 40 MarketPoints, and I have taken some longer surveys that awarded 75 - 200 MarketPoints.
Our Profiling studies are capped at 10 MarketPoints. GlobalTestMarket just started offering a MarketPoint incentive to complete our new updated profilers. Prior to our new profilers we did not offer an incentive to complete them.
Please note at the moment only US members have access to the new profilers and the incentive. We are close to updating the profilers for most of Asia and for many countries in Europe. It takes a long time to translate and localize 10 profiling studies. Hope this answered your inquiry.

Dear Garth O’Brien,
It is a great feeling for me when I get to hear about the prompt action taken from your end in response to my comments as posted by me in the Blog.
I am happy that I am associated with an organization of repute where I can now be assured of prompt payments made to me in the form of Checks from time to time upon my completing market points of 1000.

in Indian currency how much 2000 market points equal to?
June 26th, 2008 at 11:01 am
Bindiya,
1,000 MarketPoints equals $50.00 in US currency. From there our Finance team utilizes currency exchange rates for members in other countries. 2,000 MarketPoints equals $100.00 in US currency. Just convert $100.00 US based upon the exchange rate for your currency.

Solomon,
Once we work out some software bugs we plan on expanding our community. We just hit a snag with our last software release. Thank you for your patience and I really do expect a better 2009 compared to our 2008 software releases.
