Member Survey History Bug Fixed

January 15th, 2008

Earlier we reported a bug regarding your survey history listed in your member account. I am pleased to announced this issue has been resolved.

The member history will list the surveys you have completed within the past 30 days. You can access live studies from this section as well. So, if you think you accidentally deleted a survey invite chances are you can access the survey from your account.

What about the “Partially Complete” surveys?

Online Surveys

Some surveys might indicate they are partially completed. That means you began the survey, but did not finish the study. Maybe the telephone rang, or you just did not have the time to finish due to other priorities. Some studies will allow you to re-enter the survey and finish where you left off.

However, some studies will not allow this even if the survey is linked in your history. In those cases a message stating you cannot finish that study will pop up like the one below.

Paid Surveys

I hope this addresses some questions. Thanks for participating GlobalTestMarket members!

International GlobalTestMarket members should review this post to get answers about the Interests profiler survey.

    Ma. Clotilde,

[1] Some clients will not allow members to complete a partially completed survey. That means it is impossible to complete some partially completed surveys. There is nothing GlobalTestMarket can do to change that. Those client requests protect the integrity of their research method and data collection.

However, some clients allow members to complete partially completed surveys.

[2] My team is reviewing various ways to expand incentive and redemption options. Thank you for bringing Western Union Money Transfer to my attention. I will add it to the list of alternatives we need to review.

Most of my unfinished surveys ask for either a user name and password or ID # and password but I always get unknown user/password even though I know I used the right ones. What causes this?

    Unfinished surveys,

Yes. That will happen for the studies where our client does not want members to re-enter the study. Some clients require the study is completed in one sitting. Some clients do not have that requirement. Those links will allow you to enter the study, and will not request your login or password.

I was filling out my profile surveys and when I got to the one on INTERESTS, I encountered some sort of error and when I would push the arrow to advance, it would say there was some kind of error and return me to the same page. Anyway, it says the survey is PARTIALLY COMPLETED and when I try to complete it , I run into the same error. So is there something wrong with it or is there something wrong with me?

    Amanda,

Yes, we are aware of that error. We are in the process of updating our profiling surveys worldwide. The new ones are available for US members. We are getting close to making the new ones available for many European countries.

I will be working on the Canadian profilers shortly. In the meantime I will see what our Dev team can do about the current Interest profiler error.
