Angela and xrayspex sent inquiries today about future improvements to the GlobalTestMarket redemption process. There are plans to increase the methods for fund distribution. That may seem like an overnight upgrade, but believe me this project takes considerable planning and resource organization. I met with two executives today to discuss this issue, and I hope to have some progress by the beginning of January. In the meantime I am pushing to speed up our current redemption process. Angela and xrayspex, thanks for sending in your comments. |

Speeding up redemptions would make your service much more attractive.

I believe it would be great if you could introduce Paypal as a redemption method. You see, this is a fast paced world and almost all transactions have to be done fast. Paypal is a well known and legitimate service for payments and is available in more than 100 countries. So it would be feasible to send online payments rather than sending cheques which would mean additional time to deposit the same and for receiving credit. Hope GTM is listening???

Roland,
We are listening. I have mentioned it in a few replies elsewhere on the blog. We are currently looking at other alternatives and ironing out the operational details. Look for an announcement in the next few months.

Why do some surveys show “not started” on my personal page but when I try to complete it, it asks for an “access code & password”…what’s that??

Glen,
There was a software release in the afternoon on December 19th. That is a bug which the Development team is fixing. It should be resolved shortly. Thanks for the inquiry.

Using PayPal will save a lot of headaches on missing checks in the mail, faster payment, and save money as you do not have to pay for the stamp to mail the check. I love paypal and use it all the time.

A simpler way than sending payments would be wiring the money to a checking / savings account. It’s easier and faster.

how about paypal? I know that the subject has come up before and you said you were working on getting it started.

Since there are other reliable fast transaction methods, we should make use of them. I will be happly for payPal or even electronic transactions. Money will be safe and reach faster. Can you also think of redemption target less than 1000?

Arunodaya,
We are actually looking into reducing the MarketPoint threshold for redemption.

Wow, paypal would be great! Reducing the MarketPoint threshold would be even better!
